The report describes HSBC's 2020 ESG response, led by a new ambition to reach net zero across direct and indirect emissions and to achieve net zero in operations and the supply chain by 2030. It reports $93.0bn of cumulative sustainable-finance progress toward a $100bn 2025 commitment and a new $750bn-$1tn sustainable-finance ambition for 2030. The review also highlights expanded climate-risk and TCFD disclosures, employee well-being and skills initiatives, and progress on gender diversity, including 30.3% women in senior leadership.
