Annual Report

The report highlights Huhtamaki's 2019 launch of recyclable blueloop flexible packaging, fiber-based Fresh trays, and paper straws. It reports total energy consumption of 2,249 GWh, renewable energy share of 1%, Scope 1 emissions of 219,000 Metric Tons CO2 Eqv, and location-based Scope 2 emissions of 546,000 Metric Tons CO2 Eqv. The Group ended the year with 18,598 employees and reported zero workplace fatalities. Sustainability disclosures were prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core Option and received limited assurance from DNV GL Business Assurance Finland OY/AB.
