Annual Report

The report describes Huhtamaki's 2021 progress on climate action, including SBTi-validated emissions targets and a major increase in renewable electricity. It reports 2,244 GWh of total energy consumption, Scope 1 emissions of 221,000 metric tons CO2e, and market-based Scope 2 emissions of 484,000 metric tons CO2e. The company also reports 205,300 metric tons of waste generated, 72% recycled, and no workplace fatalities. Selected GRI and SASB sustainability disclosures received limited assurance from DNV Business Assurance.
