Overview

The report presents Huntsman's 2012 sustainability performance across five business divisions and a scorecard of 10 GRI metrics. It reports record earnings and a company-wide workforce of approximately 12,000 associates, while total energy consumption decreased over 2 percent in the last year. Direct GHG emissions were 2,339,728 tonnes and indirect GHG emissions were 1,208,055 tonnes, alongside total waste of 1,105,128 tonnes. The report also describes UNGC support, corporate conduct guidelines, safety programs and initiatives ranging from energy efficiency to waterless textile dyeing.
