Sustainability Strategy

The report describes Huon's 2024 sustainability strategy, organized around the JBS Environment, Animals, People, and Product priorities. It sets a net-zero GHG ambition for 2040 and targets for emissions intensity, water efficiency, and renewable electricity. Operational measures include hydropower, water reuse and monitoring, wildlife protections, and workforce and food-safety programs. Reported progress includes a 32% reduction in energy use at Whale Point versus the corresponding prior-year period and 100% fish by-product reuse achieved in FY21 ahead of the 2025 target.
