Corporate Responsibility Report

The report records a 35% reduction in combined Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions against the 2005 baseline, with 31,574 tonnes CO2-e shown for 2011. Purchased electricity fell to 39,933 MWh, while Hysan Place was presented as a LEED Platinum and BEAM Platinum pre-certified project. The report also describes recycling of paper, plastic bottles and aluminium cans, and 4,650 volunteering hours delivered through community services. A Safety Management Plan and a workers injury risk management programme were introduced in 2011.
