Sustainability Report

The report covers Hyundai Steel's 2009 sustainability performance across its head office and Incheon, Pohang, and Dangjin Works. Highlights include KRW 7,966.4 billion in sales, 1,600,757 TOE of total energy usage, 12,393 TOE of energy savings, and a 92.8% byproduct recycling rate. It also describes the Integrated Steel Mill's completion in April 2010, company-wide CSR structures, stakeholder materiality testing, and employee and community programs. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G3 and received third-party assurance from the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies.
