Sustainability Report

The report describes Hyundai Steel's 2011 record sales of KRW 15,259.9 billion, 94.5% reuse of byproducts and extensive environmental management across its steelworks. It reports total water use of 32,207,000 m3 and company-wide GHG emissions of 14,972 in the report's 1,000-ton presentation. The report also highlights an 8,551-person workforce, employee development and community programs such as House Remodeling for Hope.
