The report describes a challenging 2013 trading year: net trading revenue fell 1% to £361.9 million, while profit before tax increased 3.5% to £192.2 million. It reports 991 employees, an employee survey in which over 80% of respondents agreed IG had a strong and positive working culture, and £421,000 spent on training. Environmental actions included sensor lighting and air conditioning, energy-efficient data-centre systems and improved recycling; the London head office received ISO 14001 certification.
