Corporate Social Responsibility Report

The report describes ITW's four-part CSR strategy and Board oversight, reports a 15 percent reduction in lost time accidents and zero fatalities in 2019, and presents verified environmental data including 603,937 metric tons CO 2 e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions. It also reports 1,537,763 MWh of total energy and 36,847 U.S. tons of solid waste, while setting a company-wide target to reduce combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity by 20 percent by 2027 from 2017 levels.
