Overview

The report describes Imperial's first full year of group-wide sustainability measurement, establishing a baseline across its decentralised operations. It reports 51 007 employees, R175 million in training expenditure, 1 182 534 tonnes of CO 2 emissions from Scopes 1 and 2, and 1 739 million litres of water use. Highlights include the world's first solar-powered Kia dealership, energy and water efficiency initiatives, and the Ukhamba Trust's library programme, which opened three libraries and trained librarians from employees' families.
