Sustainability Report

Overview

The report shows IPL's 2016 group-wide environmental performance, including 2.7 million tonnes of Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions, 44,972,204 GJ of energy use, 9,311 ML of net water use and 8,288 tonnes of solid waste generated. It also reports 4,584 employees excluding contractors and a 28.6% share of women at board level. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI G4 at Core level, with Deloitte providing limited assurance over selected Australian GHG, energy and production data.
