Sustainability Report

The report describes Indorama Ventures' 2016 global sustainability performance across 21 countries and four continents. It reports substantial business and workforce growth, with 14,432 employees, while noting that direct GHG emissions rose following acquisitions and the addition of coal-based power plants. Despite this, combined GHG intensity declined to 0.517 tCO2e per ton of production, alongside improvements in energy and water intensity. The report also details the company's materiality assessment, human-rights and safety programs, and independent assurance of selected sustainability indicators, including reasonable assurance of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
