Sustainability Report

The report covers Infineon's environmental and social performance for FY2021, including the consolidation of Cypress non-financial data. It reports 298,246 tons of CO2 equivalents of Scope 1 emissions, 695,432 tons of market-based Scope 2 emissions and 1,190,267 tons of Scope 3 emissions, while total energy consumption was 2,437.06 gigawatt hours. Water withdrawal was 30,522,876 cubic meters and waste generated was 48,646 tons; no fatal work-related accidents occurred. Infineon also reports targets to become carbon-neutral by the end of fiscal year 2030 and reduce emissions by 70 percent by the end of fiscal year 2025 compared with 2019.
