Overview

The report presents Innospec's eleventh sustainable development review for 2009, with a new dedicated business ethics section and 100% completion of required compliance training. It introduces a product carbon-footprinting method, illustrated by DCI-11's calculated footprint of 1.49 tonnes per tonne of product. Company-wide resource reporting highlights a 27% reduction in water consumption and a reported 256,000-tonne reduction in total water usage. An independent SKM Enviros validation found a high level of assurance for most environmental and safety performance data.
