Environmental, Social and Governance Report

The report reviews IWS's FY2018 environmental and social performance across its waste-management operations. The company recycled approximately 93,700 tonnes of paper, reporting savings in trees, fuel oil, landfill space, water and electricity. It disclosed total energy consumption of 33,236.2 GJ and greenhouse gas emissions of 3,571.0 tCO2e, while expanding recycled plastic pellet and WEEE operations. The workforce comprised 178 full-time staff, with 13 work-related accidents and no reported fatalities; the company also donated approximately HK$80,000 to local community events.
