Annual Report and Financial Statements

The report describes IHG's Green Engage sustainability tool and reports up to a 10% reduction in energy consumption across a representative sample of managed and owned hotels in 2009. It also reports signing and joining the UN Global Compact and working with Oxford University on conservation-related research to inform hotel design and operation. The IHG Academy supported local economic development through hospitality training, with 25 academies in 11 locations and 5,000 students enrolled.
