Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes IHG's 2010 progress in making Corporate Responsibility part of its business strategy. Green Engage reached more than 1,000 hotels and received LEED endorsement for an existing hotel programme, while IHG also completed its second CDP questionnaire. The company became a UN Global Compact member, expanded the IHG Academy into new regions, and partnered with CARE International on disaster relief. It also acknowledges that Group-wide waste data were not yet available because measurement systems were still being rolled out.
