Responsible Business Report

The report presents IHG's 2015 responsible-business performance across its global hotel estate, including 9,287 IHG Academy participants, 27 disaster responses, and 34,389 Green Solutions. It reports a 3.9% reduction in carbon footprint per occupied room and a 4.8% reduction in water use per occupied room in water-stressed areas, both against a 2012 baseline. The report also provides global Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions data and describes independent verification of environmental performance data by LRQA.
