Responsible Business Report

The report highlights IHG's 2024 sustainability progress alongside the challenge of rising absolute emissions: carbon emissions per available room fell 11.5% and energy per available room fell 9.4% against 2019, but total carbon emissions rose 7.2% and the company was not on track for its 2030 target. It reports 43,285 IHG Academy participants and 263 suppliers completing the Sustainability Questionnaire, with 44% of business awarded to IHG Green suppliers.
