Overview

The report presents Interfor's first company-wide Sustainability Strategy, with new targets across safety, people and climate. It sets a 40% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030 from a 2021 baseline, and reports 2022 emissions of 136,149 tCO2e, 112,599 tCO2e and 3.5 M tCO2e for Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Renewable sources supplied 82% of energy consumed, while women represented 27% of the Board. The company also reports 23 new Indigenous partnership agreements signed in 2022 and 4,903 employees.
