Overview

The report describes IFF's 2017 progress under its circular-economy sustainability strategy, including exceeding 2020 goals for greenhouse gas emissions, water and hazardous waste. It reports combined market-based Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 206,583 metric tons of CO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 1,011,684 metric tons of CO2e from six relevant categories. The company reports 7,299 year-end permanent employees and 3,025,942 cubic meters of water use. ERM CVS provided limited assurance over selected environmental, safety and other sustainability indicators.
