Sustainability Report

The report describes Intertek's 2019 sustainability agenda, including an independent materiality assessment and alignment of local activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It reports 46,000 employees and more precise 2019 headcount of 45,653, alongside new employee-commuting data and selected Scope 3 emissions. GHG data was independently assured by Ernst & Young under a limited-assurance engagement. The report also describes Board responsibility, the Sustainability Operating Committee, and a 5% per-employee GHG reduction target against a 2018 base year.
