Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report presents Discount Bank's third Corporate Responsibility Report for 2012-2013, prepared in accordance with GRI and externally assured by BDO Ziv Haft at the A+ application level. It also incorporates the Bank's UN Global Compact progress reporting and describes initiatives spanning financial education, community investment, paperless banking and environmental efficiency. For 2013, the report discloses 6,477 workforce members, carbon-footprint figures of 1,436 for Scope 1, 43,314 for Scope 2 and 230 for Scope 3, and water consumption of 45,560 cubic meters.
