Overview

The report presents Italcementi Group's 2009 sustainability performance across climate protection, resource use, safety, human rights, workforce management, and community engagement. It sets a 5% reduction target for the Group's CO2 emission factor by 2012 and reports six work-related fatalities across contractors and third parties, with none among employees and temporary workers. The Group employed 21,155 people at year-end and reported broad environmental and social performance data.
