Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents ITC's 2013-14 sustainability performance across its diversified businesses, including 38.1% renewable energy use, 16,12,914 tonnes of total Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions, and 7,11,887 tonnes of waste generated. It describes large-scale rural livelihood, watershed, forestry, education and women's empowerment programmes, alongside a direct workforce of 30,442 employees. Sustainability governance is supported by a CSR and Sustainability Committee and a Sustainability Compliance Review Committee. KPMG provided reasonable assurance over the report's selected sustainability disclosures and GHG inventory.
