CSR and ESG Report

The report presents ITO EN's experimental transition from a CSR report to an ESG-oriented account of Group activities, organized around ISO26000 core subjects and selected materialities. It describes a CSR/ESG Promotion Committee chaired by the President and an ESG Sectional Committee as part of its sustainability management. Environmental disclosures for 2016 include total ITO EN carbon dioxide emissions of 36,288 tons, Group electricity consumption of 2,329 tens of thousands of kilowatts, water use of 53,186 cubic meters and waste discharged of 22,984 t.
