The report highlights employee engagement rising to 88% in 2012 from 85% in 2011, alongside a focus on diversity and protection from harm. ITV contributed £1.7 million in cash and £3.3 million in kind to charitable activities, helping raise over £10.5 million for independent charities. Its 2012 UK environmental indicators include 36,748 tonnes of total CO 2 emissions, 1,256 tonnes of waste, 72% waste recycled and 60,502 m 3 of water use.
