Overview

The report presents İzmir Demir Çelik's first sustainability disclosure for the January-December 2023 period, covering the company and its subsidiaries and reporting in compliance with GRI Standards. The group reported 2,614,492 m3 of total water consumption and 505,712,331 GJ of total energy consumption in 2023. Its consolidated workforce totaled 1,976 employees. The report also sets sustainability goals under an overarching net-zero emissions goal for 2053, including energy, recycling, waste and biodiversity targets.
