Overview

The report is JAPFA Ltd's inaugural Sustainability Report for FY2017, prepared in accordance with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and focused on poultry operations in Indonesia. The company reported 34,114 employees at group level and more than 9,000 local farmer partners. JAPFA4Kids reached 56 schools, 12,325 students and 752 teachers, while JAPFA Foundation's four initiatives impacted 29,186 people. Environmental disclosure for the report scope included 98% renewable biomass energy and gross Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 2,030.0 and 239,000.0 tons CO2 eq., respectively.
