Overview

The report covers JFE Group FY2016 activities across JFE Holdings and three operating companies, with 60,439 consolidated employees at March 31, 2017. It validates 13 material CSR issues in five focus areas and maps activities to the SDGs. Group CO2 emissions were 61.3 million t-CO2, including Scope 1 of 54.9 and Scope 2 of 6.4 million t-CO2. Scope 3 reporting covered eight categories and was broadened to include Group companies, alongside extensive environmental and resource-recycling disclosures.
