The report presents the JFE Group's first quantified long-term climate ambitions, including a 20% or more CO2 reduction in the steel business by FY2030 against FY2013 and carbon neutrality within the Group as soon as possible after 2050. It also provides TCFD-aligned climate-risk and scenario analysis and extensive FY2019 ESG data. Sustainability Accounting Co., Ltd. provided limited assurance over the Group's key Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3, energy, and water indicators.
