The report sets out JFE Group's Environmental Vision for 2050, including an 18% steel-business emissions reduction target by FY2024 and carbon neutrality by 2050; a later revision raises the steel-business FY2030 target to at least 30%. It describes how the Group reassessed and selected 13 material management issues in FY2021. The Group also reports that it began human-rights due diligence in FY2021 in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles. Its environmental data include group-wide emissions, energy, water, and social performance disclosures.
