Sustainability Report

The report presents Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts' FY 2022/23 ESG approach across planet, people and prosperity, supported by GRI in-accordance reporting and independent EY assurance. Environmental highlights include an 86% reduction in guest-facing single-use plastic at Maldives resorts, 220,898 GJ energy consumption, 387,840 m3 water consumed and 2,260 t waste generated. The people section reports 2,309 employees calculated from gender totals, 11% female workforce participation and one workplace fatality. Community and biodiversity initiatives include 15,315 native plants replanted and 1,056 home gardens implemented.
