Annual Sustainability Report

The report highlights Johns Hopkins University's achievement of its 51% greenhouse gas reduction goal three years ahead of schedule. The company began quantifying selected Scope 3 emissions using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol methodology. It also committed to diverting at least 500 tons of annual organic waste to a proposed Baltimore compost facility and reported a 33% waste diversion rate.
