Sustainability Report

The report presents JSW Steel's FY2016-17 performance through an integrated six-capitals framework, covering financial, manufactured, intellectual, human, social and relationship, and natural capital. Highlights include record crude steel production of 15.8 million tonnes, revenue from operations of INR 60,536 crore, and a 28% decrease in lost-time injury frequency rate. It also describes community initiatives, mangrove restoration, watershed management and greening projects, and reports alignment with nine SDGs. The report includes a GRI G4 index and an independent limited-assurance statement by Deloitte Haskins and Sells LLP.
