Corporate Sustainability Report

The report presents Jubilant Organosys' second public sustainability report for FY 2004, covering four manufacturing facilities and reporting net sales of Rs 8585.19 million. Environmental disclosures include 4.373 peta joule of fossil-fuel energy, 0.154 peta joule purchased electricity and 0.203 peta joule from waste, alongside reduced specific water use. Socially, the year included one fatal accident involving a contract labourer and expanded community health and HIV/AIDS initiatives. GHG accounting had begun but was not yet reportable, while Ernst & Young reviewed EHS and social performance.
