The report presents Kakao's 2021 sustainability strategy and performance across environmental, social and governance topics. The company set a consolidated 2040 Net Zero goal, with interim reductions of 40% for Scope 1 and 2 emissions and 17% for Scope 3 emissions by 2030. It also reports 14,178 consolidated employees and describes board-level ESG oversight, materiality assessment and extensive human-rights, digital-inclusion and partner programs. The report's selected sustainability disclosures received independent assurance from LRQA, alongside separate GHG emissions verification by Korea Management Registrar.
