Annual Report

The report presents KAP International's 2005 sustainability work across 13 Southern African industrial facilities, with day-to-day sustainability management devolved to subsidiaries. It reports improved scores at 12 of 13 sites in annual risk audits and no environmental, health and safety fines or material incidents. Highlights include PET bottle recycling that supported more than 300 informal collector jobs and rehabilitation of unused evaporation ponds. Employee training and community programmes, including a feedlot-supported primary school, are also described.
