Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes KBC's 2009 sustainability performance across workforce, environmental management, responsible finance and community involvement. It highlights 54 185 group staff in FTEs, a 36 586-ton direct and indirect GHG figure for the Belgian Business Unit, and 100% electricity from green energy in the Belgian energy table. It also records ISO 14001 certification for the Belgian Business Unit and KBC's participation in launching the UN Global Compact Network Belgium. The report includes a GRI G3 B-level index.
