Overview

The report describes KBC's CSRD-compliant Sustainability statement, continued Board-level sustainability oversight and progress against its climate programme. KBC reports a 70% reduction in market-based own-operations CO2e emissions from the 2015 base year, against an 80% reduction target by 2030. The report also expands Scope 3 reporting to include banking and insurance portfolio emissions, with grand-total 2025 emissions of 85,437,756 tCO2e on a location-based basis.
