The report describes Kemira's continued focus on water chemistry and resource efficiency, while broadening sustainability reporting to economic, social, and environmental issues. It reports that climate-gas emissions were about 10% lower than in 2010 and details group-level energy, water, waste, and safety performance. The company also expanded its materiality assessment and sustainability-management processes. The Sustainability Information was independently subject to limited assurance by KPMG under ISAE 3000.
