The report describes Kemira's repositioning as a water pure-play and its continued focus on improving customers' water, energy and raw material efficiency. It presents a GRI G4 Core corporate responsibility report that was independently assessed by Deloitte. The company reported a CDP Nordic 260 score of 96B and disclosed 2013 Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions totaling 3,734 1,000 tonnes CO2 eq. It also introduced a group-level Carbon Index target to reduce the index to 80 or below by 2020 from a 2012 baseline of 100.
