Sustainability Report

The report describes Kemira's 2021 materiality assessment and its focus on four SDGs: decent work, clean water, responsible consumption and climate action. It reports a 30% reduction target for combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 market-based emissions by 2030, against a 2018 baseline, alongside a carbon-neutral ambition for 2045. The report also documents revised Scope 3 methodology, 117.0 thousand tonnes of waste generated and 6,515 Megaliters of water consumption. Sustainability information was externally assured through a limited assurance engagement by Ernst & Young Oy.
