Corporate Responsibility Report

The report describes Kesko's strong 2007 performance alongside extensive corporate responsibility activities. The Group reported net sales of €9.5 billion, continued monitoring energy, water and waste impacts, and maintained a workforce of more than 25,000 people at year-end. Responsible purchasing focused on BSCI supplier audits, SA8000 certification, Fairtrade, GlobalGAP and UTZ-certified coffee. The report was independently assured, with csrnetwork covering the sustainability information and PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy covering the economic section.
