Corporate Responsibility Report

The report presents Kesko Group's 2011 economic, environmental and social responsibility performance across its operating countries, using GRI G3 reporting at the stated A+ application level. It reports total electricity and heat consumption of 1,199,964 MWh across all operating countries and 23,375 employees at year-end. The report describes a broad responsibility programme covering energy efficiency, waste recovery, responsible purchasing, employee wellbeing and product responsibility. PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy provided limited assurance over the Corporate Responsibility information under ISAE 3000 and AA1000.
