Sustainability Report

The report describes Kesko's customer-focused sustainability strategy and its 2018 progress across environmental, social and economic responsibility. All electricity purchased for K-stores and other Kesko properties had been renewable since 2017, while total energy consumption across operating countries was reported at 4,051 TJ. Kesko also reported Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. The Sustainability section's economic, social and environmental indicators received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy.
