The report describes KGHM's 2019 workforce and sustainability activities across its global mining and metals operations. The Group employed 34,328 people on average, while its international mining operations recorded 31 workplace incidents and a consolidated TRIR of 0.77. The report highlights the commissioning of an RCR furnace to increase copper-scrap recycling as a major circular-economy investment. It also reports continued implementation of an ISO 50001 energy management system and 46 energy-efficiency targets.
