The report presents Kia Motors' 2018 sustainability performance across a global workforce of 52,578 people and a broad portfolio of environmental, social and governance activities. Domestic GHG emissions totaled 730,000 tons, while Kia set a goal to reduce per-unit GHG emissions by 30 percent from 2008 levels by 2020. Its CSR highlights include the Green Light Project and Green Trip, which had reached 44,073 beneficiaries by December 2018. The report was prepared using GRI Standards and received third-party assurance from Korea Management Registrar using AA1000AS (2008).
