Annual Report

The report describes a strong 2014 performance, with Group revenue of £2,985m following the May Gurney acquisition and expanded operations. Safety performance improved, with the Group accident incidence rate reported at 344, although two work-related fatalities occurred in joint venture operations. Environmental reporting covers 2013/14 emissions of 125,590 CO2e tonnes under a GHG Protocol-based methodology. The report also notes that a new Strategy for Sustainability was being developed for launch in 2015 and that KPMG provided limited assurance over selected CR data.
